LABORER 1 (Civil Service) –The Township of Lopatcong - Department of Public Works. The Township of Lopatcong is looking to hire for the position of Laborer 1 in the Department of Public Works. One person - Full-Time – 37 ½ hours per week. Definition – Under supervision, performs varied types of manual and unskilled laboring work and drives a truck in connection with work. Use of Power Tools, repair and maintain streets, leaf collection, snow removal, concrete work, grass cutting, etc. are some examples of work. Does other related duties as required. Must be available for work on some weekends throughout each year and all emergencies. Requirements – NJ residency, applicant must be 18 years old, possess a HS Diploma or equivalent required and hold a Commercial Driver’s License valid in the State of New Jersey and applicable endorsements for the Class B or above.
