PART -TIME ZONING/CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER – LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP, WARREN COUNTY, NEWJERSEY (Civil Service) - $43.40/Hr.

The Township of Lopatcong is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Zoning/Code Enforcement Officer. Duties include review of zoning applications, issuance of zoning permits, and enforcement of Township Ordinances. Preferred qualifications: Zoning Official Certificate or willingness to obtain one, knowledge of Municipal Land Use Law, and municipal experience in zoning administration, code enforcement, and plan review. Three-year’s experience in the preparation and revision of building construction plans and specifications  OR in the inspection and enforcement of zoning and/or building construction laws and regulations. Must possess strong communication, organization and records keeping skills. Applicants must have a valid State of New Jersey drivers’ license.
