The Division of Taxation will begin mailing 2007 Senior Freeze (Property Tax Reimbursement) checks on July 15 to eligible applicants who filed by the original deadline of June 2, 2008. Reimbursements for applications filed between the original June 2 filing deadline and the extended deadline of August 15, 2008 will be issued as quickly as possible. We receive many inquiries about 2008/2009 tax bills each day. To date, the County Board Of Taxation has not yet issued a tax rate. Therefore, the August 1 due date will be extended. More information will be available next week.
