The goal of our Recreation Committee is to cater to our residents of all ages by holding events that will reinforce our sense of community; promoting regular usage of our beautiful park; and promoting outdoor activities throughout our township.

 2017 Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10am for children ages 0-9.  Must be accompanied by a Lopatcong adult resident.  Raindate will be Saturday April 15, 2017 at 10am. 

 2016 Lopatcong Community Day - Saturday August 27, 2016

Community Day Vendors:  The address for the park is 9 Wildew Ave.  Please use the entrance by the EMS building and pull up to the main pavilion.  You can begin setting up at 11am.  Tents are welcome!

Photo contest:  Information on our photo contest will be available at the event.  This will be an online photo contest, with the winners announced at our Dog Park Meeting planned for September.  

Events so far:

12:30 - Free Zumba Class by Club Metro Instructor

1:00 - Opening of Community Day by Cheerleaders

1:30 - 3:30 - On going Dance performances by Showbiz Kidz

1:30 - Tae Kwon Do performance by US Family Martial Arts

2:00 - 6:00 - Rides are open! $10 per rider or $30 for 4 - unlimited rides

2:00 - 4:00 - Balloon Animals by Chump the Clown

3:00 - Eyes of the Wild demonstration

3:30 - 5:00 - Music by Jesse Rivera

4:30 - Free Yoga Class by Club Metro Instructor

7:30 - 10:30 Music by Joyous

Additionally we will have ID kits for Children; Fire Department Appartus Showcase and Kiddie Hoseline; Cheerleader Dunk Tank, Clothing Drive and Car Wash; pick-up Soccer game with Vision Soccer; many vendors and community groups; Warren County Health Dept B/P and hemoglobin checks; Warren County Book Mobile, food and the Pool is open for free all day!

 2016 Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 10am for children ages 0-9.  Must be accompanied by a Lopatcong adult resident.  Raindate will be Sunday March 20, 2016 at 2pm. 



 2016 Lopatcong Eats And Beats - rescheduled to Sunday January 31, 2016

Our first annual Eats and Beats event will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Delaware Park Firehouse from 5 to 9pm.

Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door, and are $15 for adults, and $5 for kids.  Soda and water are included with your ticket, but we will also have a cash bar serving $2 glasses of beer, and $3 glasses of wine.

Stop in anytime between 5 to 9pm and dine on some delightful culinary samples from our area restaurants, including The Brass Rail, Gabrielle's, Marianna's, Fresh Torilla, Gara's, Wok N Roll, The Bagel Shack and more!  

Come in out of the winter cold and listen to some music while you dine, have a drink or two, and socialize with friends and neighbors.

Proceeds from this event will go towards Community Day and other recreation events and park enhancements.

Eats And Beats Flyer

 2015 Lopatcong Community Day - Saturday August 15, 2015

It's almost here!  

This year's Community Day will feature a dog parade; several rides for the kids with purchase of a wristband;  photo, baking and chili contests; crafts under the Pavilion for the kids; live performances during the day from US Family Martial Arts, Lopatcong Cheerleaders, Showbiz Kidz Dance Studio, 5 6 7 8 Dance Studio, K-9 Police Dog, Jessie Rivera, and Eyes of the Wild; plus a fitness walk, hikes through our trails, Community groups, Firetruck demonstation, and many fun vendors and interactive displays.  The pool will be open for free all day and we will end the day at the pool with a performance from Naked Jake at our Beer and Wine Fundraiser.

There will be lots of fun and food for everyone! Keep checking back for our full list of events and vendors!

1st Annual Yard Clean-up Event October 25, 2014 - extended to 11/8/2014!

We have extended our Yard Clean-up to 11/8/2014! The LAA, along with the Recreation Committee, will be sponsoring the 1st Annual Yard Clean-up Event for our Veterans, Seniors, and Disabled/Infirm residents.  Please see the flyer for more information on how you can sign up or help out!
