Residents of Lopatcong,
As you are aware from my letter in June, we have been investigating some improprieties in our tax/sewer collector’s office. The Warren County Prosecutors Office and the New Jersey State Police were in charge of the investigation, and that investigation resulted in an arrest on Friday, November 2, 2018.
At this time, I want to thank all of you for your time and patience through this difficult process. As your Mayor, I want to assure you that your entire council was working diligently to do our part to speed this process along and put this behind us. We remain committed to making sure all the improprieties are rectified in an efficient manner. A special thank you also to our entire municipal staff for doing their part to help you during this process.
As always, I along with Councilmen Pryor, Belcaro, Wright and Palitto, remain committed to keeping Lopatcong a “People Helping People” community”
